What Animals Eat Squirrels?

Animals that live in the open habitat they prey to someone and become prey for someone squirrel is one of them. We know squirrel eats everything. They like to eat nuts and seeds. Although they are wild animals and people do not like to keep them at home due to their dangerous poop and waste, but there are some who keep it as a pet. They can hide in woods and leaves, so it can be difficult to search them. Now we are going to share list predators that eat squirrel.

Hawks
The squirrel does not like to spend their time in open places because of the birds that are in wait to prey them. Hawk is considered one of the biggest predators of a squirrel. As they find them in an open area without wasting any time they attack them. 

Eagle
Another predator of the squirrel is an eagle; due to their vision power, they can see the v from 2 miles distance, so they find it easy to prey a Squirrel.  There are many birds that like to eat squirrel-like falcons, Osprey, etc. 

Snake
Snakes are considered as the worst enemy of squirrel; as we mentioned above, squirrel hides in wood and can hide into their nest on the top of the tree. Snakes can climb up the tree and have power to prey for a Squirrel within their nest, or they can move easily into the woods. So for snake Squirrel can be easy prey. 

Fish
Although it is unbelievable because fish lives in the water and squirrel live in the dry place that how can they eat squirrel?  The squirrel does not like to go into the water, but whenever they go to drink water, there are higher chances they may be prey by some large fish that was in wait; they come to drink water.  So the squirrel put herself in risk while drinking the water. 

Foxes & Coyotes 
Foxes and coyotes prey for squirrels easily when they find them in open areas. They can hurt him within the bushes. Both of these animals are sharp and quick, so they can catch their target easily.  Squirrel has the ability to dive into the sand and hide themselves self, but here they are at risk to prey by parasites. Usually, parasites are not predators, but when a squirrel tries to attack them as a reason, they keep the mark on her until squirrel did not die. There is also a chance they only mark scratch on squirrel later. It can cause serious skin disease. 

Human
Human is considered as one of the biggest enemies of a squirrel. A squirrel can move to any place in search of food, and during this search, they put their waste and urine mark within the houses with their bad odors. So people use the trap to kill them and to get rid of their odor.  They can also use poison to kill them, or there are some people who love to eat squirrel, so they hunt for it to eat them.
